I got these cocoa pods thinking it's already ripen and ready to use but I was highly mistaken. I don't know if I got to let it ripen on the counter or what but I'm very disappointed. I ordered two of them but scared to open the other knowing it might not be ready but if it's a chance for it to ripen on the counter then I'll wait.

I couldn’t tell if it was ripe. I waited a week to cut after I saw it start to shrivel but the “butt” didn’t change color and you didn’t smell the cantaloupe. There were soft portions of the cantaloupe and I ate those right away then placed the rest in the fridge
